R. LeGrandR. Legrand began his
real estate career in 1982 after becoming
dissatisfied with the income he was getting
from his job as a auto mechanic.
Ron is a well known real estate guru
who has written a number of real estate books
on wholesaling, lease options, and cash
flow.
He reports that he borrowed money from
a couple of friends to attend a weekend real
estate seminar at a cost of $450. He also
admits that most of the material covered at
this seminar was well above his head, but Ron
was able to grasp one concept that made him
$3,000 in about 3 weeks.
Over the next two years, Ron Legrand was
able to purchase 276 real estate units which
consisted of single family dwellings in
addition to apartment buildings, etc.
As a member of a local real estate
association and I have known many of the
members to hang on every word that Ron Legrand
writes. Some own a number of properties but I
don't know of anyone in that large group of
real estate investors who is "wealthy".
I have purchased and reviewed a number of
real estate courses, but have not personally
reviewed those of Ron Legrand.
From my research I found one student that
said although expensive, the course materials
were good, but he also said that in order to
make the system work you need to have a mentor
and a team. Mentoring usually costs quite a bit
of money.
Another of R. Legrand’s students
reported that he brought Ron Legrand’s Cash
Flow, Short Sales, and Lease/Options course and
thought it was the best $1,600 he had spent.
The student said he was able to recoup his
$1,600 in about 2 months and got a substantial
sum at closing. The student didn’t say how many
of those kinds of deals he had done since his
first one however.
Ron Legrand and Carlton Sheets appear to
sell similar courses. I have purchased and
reviewed Carlton Sheets’ course and it cost a
lot less than $1,600.
Mentoring is usually very expensive and this
may account for the large amount of money Ron
Legrand charges for his course.
If you are seriously interested in real
estate investing, I would recommend doing some
research on other real estate courses before
investing $1,600 dollars. I have purchased and
reviewed many real estate courses and they all
usually cover the same basics.
Contrary to what we are frequently lead to
believe by many of the real estate gurus
marketing their courses, real estate investing
is not a “get-rich-quick” venue. Good deals are
few and far between. Building wealth through
real estate investing is possible but most real
estate investors are not wealthy.
Ask yourself this question. How many people
do you know who own more than one piece of real
estate? And how many of those people are
actually "rich?"
After years of reviewing and
testing various money making opportunities I
have finally found the real secrets to
making large sums of money online. This one actually
delivers!
