First American Real Estate Solutions

First American Real Estate Solutions is reportedly the nation’s largest source of real estate data.

First American Real Estate Solutions was first recommended to me through I course I purchased at a Real Estate conference I attended.

I later contacted First American Real Estate Solutions and purchased 1,000 leads of people who had sold their homes and financed mortgages for the new buyer.

My account representative walked me through how to use their system which allowed for changing dates and downloading as many leads as I wanted at one time .

I was a happy camper and I went about downloading information and mailing out letters and postcards to the lists I had obtained from First American Real Estate Solutions.

This process continued for six months. The number of returns was small but the odd thing was I had not gotten one phone call (very strange for the number of mailings I was doing each week).

I called my then mentor for advice, fax her a copy of my mailing piece; everything seemed okay there.

Shortly thereafter, I contacted my account rep at First American Real Estate Solutions and advised that I had not gotten any response to the lists and wanted to have the information I downloaded verified for accuracy.

I was immediately transferred to the data verification department, placed on hold for about 5 minutes then told that the list information was correct. Still I couldn’t understand why I had not received a phone from close to 1,000 letters mailed out.

So, I decided to take 100 of the names that I had mailed letters to and check the information for myself against our county recorder’s office.

 I was shocked to find that only two leads out of 100 were correct! The other 98 were not!

I immediately contacted the account representative to advise him and was disappointed that he did not offer me any alternative or explanation.

I contacted my attorney who sent a letter to American Real Estate Solutions advising them that failing to deliver the product paid for was fraud and asked that my money be refunded.

Although I provided them with proof that the information I received was bogus, they did not refund my money. I actually had a credit balance for leads that I did not get (I had no reason to pull down more useless leads) and they did not refund that money either.

American Real Estate Solution contracts with companies overseas for some of their support. Although these employees tried to be helpful it was difficult to communicate due to language barriers.

 Based upon my experience with American Real Estate Solutions I would definitely not recommend them.

I’ve tried a lot of programs over the past several years but this one is a winner.
