The fourth and final thing you need to make money with Adsense is traffic. Having a great content-rich site with targeted keywords is all for naught if no one comes to your site to see and click on the Adsense ads.

Driving a lot of qualified traffic (people interested in your information) is probably the hardest and most time-consuming activity related to becoming a successful Adsense publisher.

What is the best way to get this traffic? Well that depends on how much time and money you have to spend.

The most expensive, yet quick and easiest way to drive traffic to your site is by using one of the two top search engines advertising programs (Google Adwords or Yahoo Search Marketing).

Of these two, Google Adwords is by far the fastest, as you can create an account and have your ads showing in less than 30 minutes. A Yahoo Search Marketing account, on the other hand, is simple to set up, but you will wait at least 24-48 hours for the Yahoo to review you site and either accept or reject it.

Yahoo, in my opinion, is much pickier than Google when it comes to site approval and how your ad is structured. But yahoo is very specific when it comes to pricing.

If Yahoo says your ad will show in position 5 for $.50, then you can be assured that will be the case.

With Google, your ad position can change based upon several different variables and the price you pay can change as well but you will never pay more than the amount you have bid.

If you have more time than money and don't mind writing, submitting written articles to article directory sites might be more to your liking.

You can drive traffic to your site by advertising your site in the author resource box at the bottom of each of your articles.

This way everyone who reads your article will have an opportunity to click on your link and visit your web site.

If your article is interesting and well written it is quite possible that it will be syndicated and posted on many other web sites, therefore increasing the numbers of potential visitors to your site.

And remember, the more visitors to your site, the greater the chances of getting clicks on your Adsense ads and money in your pocket.
